After you have learned the basic moves, they can be put together to form drills. With these drills you will begin to move and stay in balance while using your basic skills.


STRAIGHT LINE DRILL

Formal Stance

Bow

Ready Stance

Step out to Forward Stance and Straight Punch (continue down the hall)

Backfoot lead turn to Forward Stance with Rising Block

Reverse Punch (continue)

Backfoot lead turn to Forward Stance Downward Block

Forward Leaning Punch (continue)

Backfoot lead turn to Forward Stance Rising Block

Reverse Leaning Punch (continue)

Backfoot lead turn to Forward Stance Downward Block

Step out to Cat Foot Stance Knife Hand Block (continue)

Backfoot lead turn to Forward Stance Rising Block


Basic Sparring Technique Number 6

Step forward to Forward Stance with Straight Punch

Roundhouse Kick with rear leg, turn towards the back and set down kicking foot

Back Kick with rear leg, set kicking foot down and turn towards the front into Forward Stance with Downward Block

Reverse Punch, then Straight Punch

(continue this entire sequence in order down the hall)

Backfoot lead Turn to Forward Stance with Downward Block

Basic Sparring Technique Number 6 (repeat)

Step forward to Forward Stance with Straight Punch

Roundhouse Kick with rear leg, turn towards the back and set down kicking foot

Back Kick with rear leg, set kicking foot down and turn towards the front into Forward Stance with Downward Block

Reverse Punch, then Straight Punch

(continue this entire sequence in order down the hall)

Backfoot lead turn into Forward Stance with Rising block

Forward Stance with both fists at front low guard position, Front Kick (continue)

Backfoot lead turn to Forward Stance with Downward Block

Basic Sparring Technique Number 7

Step forward to Cat Stance with Knife Hand Block

Step forward to Straight Punch

Step forward to Front Leaning Punch

Step to the side with front foot into Forward Stance

Reverse Punch, then Front Kick with rear foot

Set kicking foot down to Hourglass Stance with Reverse Leaning Punch

(continue entire sequence in order down the hall)

Backfoot lead turn into Cat Foot Stance with Knife Hand Block 

Basic Sparring Technique Number 7 (repeat)

Step forward to Cat Stance with Knife Hand Block

Step forward to Straight Punch

Step forward to Front Leaning Punch

Step to the side with front foot into Forward Stance

Reverse Punch, then Front Kick with rear foot

Set kicking foot down to Hourglass Stance with Reverse Leaning Punch

Backfoot lead turn to Ready Stance
